Assure Controls Presents at CALTECH During California Clean Innovation 2007 Conference

Pasadena, California, May 11, 2007 — Assure Controls, Inc. was selected to present at the California Clean Innovation 2007 general assembly at the inaugural conference held Friday, May 11th, at Caltech, in Pasadena, California. The first of it's kind conference was organized by graduate students, faculty and staff from three university programs: Center for the Science & Engineering of Materials at Caltech, UCLA Anderson School of Management, and the Rady School of Management at UCSD. The conference provided attendees the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the clean technology landscape, network with industry leaders, and participate in wide ranging policy discussions. The day-long conference reviewed the current state of the Clean Technology sector, explored applications on the horizon, and discussed the importance of multiple approaches. Two segments, Energy and Transportation, were the primary focus of the event.

The event featured ten companies with "clean technologies" that presented in a closed morning session. The ten companies were selected from over thirty that were solicited to participate and each applied to present. Two of these companies asked to present in the afternoon general assembly of approximately two hundred audience members. The goal was to illustrate the deployment of current clean technologies and growth of new markets, highlighting California's key role as a global market leader. The event also provided the attendees with an opportunity to become exposed to up-and-coming clean tech concepts, entrepreneurs, and companies in the industry.
